DL CENTRAL is located in the very heart of Katowice, in the Śródmieście district, at 10 Mielęckiego Street.
Constructed between 1938 and 1939 for the former International Commercial Bank, the building was designed in 1936 by Karol Schayer — one of the most renowned representatives of Polish interwar modernism.
Modernist architects believed that buildings should, above all, be functional and provide well-lit, comfortable spaces for users.
Following a meticulous renovation carried out by DL Invest Group, the building has retained its original character while gaining new quality, meeting the expectations of even the most demanding tenants seeking to be at the centre of the city’s vibrant life.
The immediate surroundings of DL CENTRAL are filled with retail and service outlets, fashionable restaurants, designer hotels, and Katowice’s main shopping streets.
Within walking distance are several shopping centres (Galeria Katowicka, Supersam, Skarbek), the main railway station, the City Hall, and other public institutions.
