DL CENTRAL is located in the very center of Katowice - Śródmieście district, at 10 Mielęckiego St. DL CENTRAL was built between 1938 and 1939, commissioned by the former International Commercial Bank. It was designed in 1936 by Karol Schayer, one of the most recognized representatives of modernism in Polish interwar architecture.
Modernist architects believed that a building should first and foremost be functional and provide light and comfortable space for the user.
After the renovation carried out by DL Invest Group, the building not only lost nothing of its original features, but gained a quality that will meet the space needs of demanding tenants who want to be in the center of events.
In the immediate vicinity of the property there are numerous retail and service outlets. Many trendy restaurants can be found here. It is here that designer hotels and the largest shopping streets in Katowice are located, and within walking distance are shopping malls (Galeria Katowicka, Supersam, Skarbek) and the main railway station. The City Hall and other public institutions are also located in the immediate vicinity of DL Central.
