In the JV DHL/DL, the global giant of the logistics sector extends its services with the lease of warehouse space offered by the developer and investor: DL Invest Group.

INVESTMENT DL

DL Invest Park Psary

The investment area is located in the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolitan Area. It has a collision-free access to the main traffic arteries of both the Silesian agglomeration and other regions of Poland and Europe. DL Invest Park Psary is thoroughly prepared to accommodate a logistics, warehouse and production project within a land area of 900,000 sqm. As part of the same Psary undertaking there is a possibility to build warehouse and office facilities of 320.000 sqm in total.

There is a passenger transfer centre located within the logistics centre, ensuring efficient communication by public transport with neighbouring urban centres. To ensure the comfort of employees a canteen is also provided on the project grounds.

COOPERATION

JV DL & DHL

The cooperation is built on the combination of global logistics competence of DHL Supply Chain with the experience of DL Invest Group in the implementation of commercial real estate. As part of the cooperation, an exceptional quality logistic park will be created, offering professional services calculated to improve efficiency and optimize the supply chain. The project is implemented in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, as well as DL Green policy and the strict rules of DHL described in the Sustainability Report
Both partners have also set green solutions as a common goal when expanding the campus. DHL Supply Chain says that one of the key objectives of its climate-protection strategy is to reduce carbon emissions by 50 percent and to achieve a 50 percent rate of eco-solutions in sales transactions. One of the most important objectives is also to raise awareness among employees and involve them in environmental and climate protection activities under the policy of DHL's GoGreen program.

It is crucial for us to reduce the operating costs of our buildings as much as possible by using modern and energy-efficient solutions. Insulated walls, a system for rainwater recovery and grey water recycling, and an eco-friendly heating system, are just a few of the solutions we use as standard. We pointed out that DHL's declaration to reduce emissions is based on solid foundations, already implemented projects using renewable energy sources, energy-efficient lighting, specially designed roofs, waste recycling and ecological parcel packaging systems.
